different types of Lasers: Diode Lasers, Er-Yag Lasers, Er-Cr YSGG Laser, with different applications and indications. The Laser is nowadays used in soft tissue ( gum) and in hard tissue ( bone, teeth). Some of the indications is the gummy smile reduction, frenectomy, teeth preparations...The major advantages of Laser is its accuracy, very lower levels of pain compared to traditional techniques ( requires very less anesthesia), no bleeding while making surgeries, also it makes a good aseptic field and bacterial decontamination on the treated area.
