Treatment Done

A simple gingivectomy is performed when the contours of the gum has to be slightly corrected. So their will be no need for a surgery to open a flap in the gum , nor their is any necessity for touching the bone to perform any reduction and recontouring (osteoplasty). Notice in the intra oral pictures above ( the smaller ones), before the gingivectomy, the level of the gum around the right lateral incisor of the patient was low, so a gingivectomy was performed, which consist in a removal of a small part of the gingivae, to place the gingival contour at a higher level. All is done under minimum amount of anesthesia, without any pain and minimum bleeding.

After correcting the gum levels, the veneers were performed. This case was done using the ultra-thin e.max press veneers. When using the ultra-thin veneers, the tooth preparation is minimal, sometimes it is done without any tooth preparation at all, there will be no need at all for shot or needles as all is done without any anesthesia, also there will be no need for temporaries. With the ultra-thin veneers, we will obtain the desired final color of the teeth, by the color of the cement (glue) used to fix the veneers on the natural teeth. When choosing the right cement, with the right technique, the results are permanent, with no color change, no fractures and no debonding.

Duration of the treatment
